AI Summary

Hi everyone,

I’m the founder of Zyrlent, a product of SHOBiZ Technologies Ltd.

We’re building infrastructure that helps businesses, developers, startups, and resellers access virtual numbers and SMS verification services through a simple and scalable API.

Our goal is to make phone verification and virtual communication services more accessible and affordable for both:

  • B2C users who need virtual numbers for online verification.

  • B2B businesses that require verification services at scale.

  • Developers building applications that need SMS verification, onboarding flows, user authentication, or communication features.

Some of the areas we’ve focused on include:

✅ Affordable pricing for startups and growing businesses.

✅ Instant access to virtual numbers across supported services.

✅ Fast delivery of verification codes.

✅ Simple API integration with minimal setup requirements.

✅ Scalable infrastructure suitable for client projects and production applications.

We’re particularly interested in hearing from developers who have integrated SMS verification or virtual number APIs into their products.

A few questions for the community:

  1. What are the biggest challenges you’ve faced when integrating verification APIs?

  2. What documentation, SDKs, or developer tools do you consider essential before adopting a new API?

  3. If you’re building products for clients, what would make you choose one verification provider over another?

I’d appreciate any feedback from fellow developers and builders as we continue improving Zyrlent and expanding our developer ecosystem.

Hello, Shobiz Technologies. To me, this is a good concept, but I'll need to test it to see if it's seamless and won't cause problems because we already have Twilo on the ground, but the cost is a bit high, which is why developers prefer email verification over SMS verification. However, it is now up to the client to determine whether they require SMS verification and are willing to pay the fee. I'll answer your questions.

  1. The most significant challenge is that the API fails to send OTP when you're live and clients try to test, but it works in development mode. That's a little crazy, right?

  2. Well, I will consider flexibility and scalability, but so far, Twilo has been the best SMS API I've used for both local and international verification.

  3. That is determined by the client's budget and, as previously stated, flexibility, rather than complex integration documentation.
