We are so excited for the second edition of Google’s Site Reliability Engineering book that we decided to start with a simpler book and address the challenges of running a book club. Hopefully by the end of this year, the second edition of Google's SRE book will be published, and we are all set to jump in.
A Perfect Test Run for the Book Club. Organizing and participating in a technical book club is a new adventure for most of us. Becoming SRE is highly accessible and easy to digest for professionals at any career stage. By starting with a lighter read, we can focus our energy on figuring out how to run the club effectively without getting overwhelmed by dense material right out of the gate.
