One particularly important impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in local communities is how it has lowered the barrier to building solutions. Today, people with little technical knowledge can build applications and websites, design for their businesses, and even offer services to individuals and businesses which has transformed their economic circumstances. From the conversations I’ve had within my community, this is one of the ways AI has made life easier for many people.
However, I am also concerned that the availability of this powerful tool has paralyzed many people. Some are overthinking where to start and how to build a successful career, while others are simply confused and stuck consuming content rather than creating, experimenting, and using these tools to their advantage.
