GDG Chicago is a diverse, welcoming community for anyone curious about technology, with a focus on the tools and platforms Google offers. All skill levels are welcome, whether you are here to learn, teach, or network with others.

We meet to discuss a wide array of topics: Google Cloud, Gemini, Google Maps Platform, Android, Angular, Chrome and web development, Dart, and many more Google technologies. On the cloud side, we go deeper into general compute and serverless (GCE, GKE, Cloud Functions and Cloud Run), big data (Dataflow, Dataproc, and BigQuery), and SRE/DevOps practices like CI/CD and build pipelines.

We aim to host monthly meetups along with study jams for hands-on learning and growth. Our goal is to bring our community, and the wider Chicago meetup scene, together to learn from one another and grow as a group. When the Chicago community wins, we all win.
