This workshop introduces students to the Google developer ecosystem and guides them through building a simple AI-powered web application using Gemini and Firebase. After a brief overview of tools like Google Cloud, Firebase, Gemini, and Google Colab, participants will follow a hands-on tutorial to create a basic interface that sends user prompts to the Gemini API and returns AI-generated responses. Along the way, they will learn how modern applications integrate AI services with backend infrastructure and how Firebase simplifies hosting and deployment. By the end of the session, students will have a fully functional AI web app deployed online, giving them practical experience with Google’s AI and cloud development tools.
