In her talk Teja will start off with what we mean when we are talking about Big Data, what are the challenges involved and why it is important.

She will also explain what kind of problems XING is solving by making use of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, batch and stream processing.

Part of her talk will also be a case study where she will talk about lessons learned and the challenges the team faced.
