Speakers and their talks:
Eike Langbehn
Eike is a doctoral candidate as well as research and teaching associate at the Human-Computer Interaction group at the University of Hamburg, where he works on investigating perceptually-inspired locomotion user interfaces for virtual reality. Before, he worked as a Unity3D developer at a Hamburg games company. He studied computer science in Oldenburg and Hamburg. Eike has produced a notable body of research with several research paper publications in renowned international conferences (e.g. IEEE VR, ACM VRST) and journals (e.g. IEEE TVCG, ACM TAP) in the field. Moreover, he is routinely giving talks at meetings and gatherings on virtual reality, game development, and related fields (e.g. PLAY Festival, Researching Games, VR Meetup).

Creative squirrel, chaos kid & in love with the idea of new worlds, Sara is on a mission to explore what the heck VR is. Especially fascinated by UX & art in VR she is working on the VR game Lucid Trips, teaches VR at Design Factory International Hamburg and guides longtime VR Trips in collaboration with academic researchers as the worlds first VR Shaman. A passionate advocate of sharing & caring Sara is an active member of the international and local VR community. After exploring the early days of VR as part of hamburg based VR Nerds collective Sara is now notworking at VR Base Berlin.

Martin is a JavaScript Developer at Ubilabs, the specialist for interactive maps, where he's focusing on WebGL and WebVR. Since the setup of a VR lab in the Ubilabs office, he loves to spend his time in there, exploring the opportunities this medium offers.
Valentina Birke
Valentina Birke studies culture and media management in Hamburg. She works as a freelance media pedagog with the Initiative Creative Gaming and campaigns the creative and critical use of games and sees games as a form of expression.
Her gaming-career started pretty early with Commander Keen. Now she’s more into open world role playing games like Skyrim. She also loves narrative driven games a.k.a. walking simulators.
Susanne Ahmadseresht
Susanne is a project manager focusing on Digital Media and VR, and is responsible for business development at Projektwerft, a company based in Hamburg. Since 2015, she has organized, in cooperation with various companies and institutes, several events in the education, entertainment,
and industrial sectors. Due to her broad network, she is reliably able to bring the right minds and skills to the table. Besides she is part of the NextReality Team in Hamburg and within this
initiative she is engaged in the fields of event management and network care.
Simon Graff
Simon Graff is an avid nerd and VR enthusiast. He works at Hamburg based media agency ROBA where he is responsible for developing concepts, products and strategies in the field of immersive media (VR, AR, 360 content). Whatever time is left he pushes into the VR adventure BTL that he’s working on with friends of his.
