About this event

We will play around with variations of PoseNet, a real-time, machine learning model, based on TensorFlow, that approximates human positions in live video feeds. We'll start with a quick introduction to the base code, which runs in your browser. We'll then experiment with changes, code the illusion of x-ray vision, and finally, augment the reality with additional props.

What this means is..... come ready to play! You will be able to install all presented software on your laptop, and run your own variations, too.

HUGE NOTE: The Department of Computer Science has moved to a new building. We are now in the newly renovated Willet Science Center, which is on the south side of campus. You'll want to enter campus on College Street from Mercer University Drive. Willet Science Center is building #35 on this map:

We will meet in room 243, Willet Science Center.
