At Google I/O this year, Google announced that it will officially support Kotlin on Android as a “first-class” language. Developed and supported by JetBrains, the company behind intellij in which android studio is based on, is also partnering with Google to set up a nonprofit Kotlin foundation to shepherd the language.
Meanwhile, JetBrains is also supporting worldwide, an event called Kotlin Night in which consists of a meet up with three or four talks on Kotlin or related technologies and we don’t want you to be left out!
Therefore, GDG Lisbon together with AndroidLx are happy to announce a Kotlin night on October 12th! So for this event we will have the following speakers:

20:00 - Kotlin on the Cloud by João Carvalho (Talkdesk)
[20:45] - Break
21:30 - Kotlin Workshop - Kotlin Basics and Kotlin Applied to Android by Sérgio Moura (Onfido)
In order for us to be sure of the amount of tables we need, only those who will fill the form (https://goo.gl/forms/6wwhaWsoa79oLWY23) , will be eligible to participate in the workshop.
