# What is a Study Jam?
** Self paced, self learning study jam, you will pick your topics and we will be there to support you. You can attend simply one of the events and work the rest from home! **

Study Jams are community-run study groups for developers. This is a great opportunity to bring members of your community together to learn something in person.
# How will this work
Every Wednesday in March we will meet and study Cloud together. We will use QWiklabs platform together with the free credits to learn all we want.
However, you are more than welcome to join one of the events and work at home, coming back to our meetup in case you have any question or want to show work done.
At the event we’ll use a tool called Qwiklabs, a Google training product. If you have used Qwiklabs before, great! Make sure you know your password. If you have never used Qwiklabs before, save time by creating an account for yourself prior to the class at:

At the event we will give you a link for free Qwiklabs access. Make sure you check the opt-in box for promos! That makes you eligible for additional free access after you complete the first series of labs.
# Lets Start
Want to get started on the Google Cloud, but don't know where to begin? Join us for our Cloud Study Jam!
Get official Google training, a $55+ value, free of charge. Together we'll work through several Google Cloud labs. You will get hands-on experience with the Cloud Console, Kubernetes, Security, IoT on Cloud, and Machine Learning.
Then after our live session, you will have free access to more labs you can finish at home. Complete all labs in the quest and earn a Google-hosted badge for your online profile, and additional 30 days access to the training platform to compete any labs you want

# What to bring to the event
1. Laptop -- Mac, PC, Chromebook, Linux, everyone’s welcome.
2. Laptop charger.
4. Headphones so you can hear privately some online instructions
3. The labs will run on all of the latest versions of the popular browsers. For the best experience, use Firefox or Chrome.
