Weights & Biases (W&B) helps your ML research team unlock their productivity by optimizing, visualizing, collaborating on, and standardizing their model and data pipelines – regardless of framework, environment, or workflow.

In Part 1 of this event, we'll cover how to professionalise your ML training with Weights & Biases. 🧠💻

In Part 2, we will run a 45-minute Kaggle-based ML competition for the chance to win amazing Weights & Biases SWAGS! But no worries, we will have surprising W&B gadgets for everyone! ✨

After the event, for in-person attendees, you will have the opportunity to chat with our speaker and network with other Google DSC members around a free aperitif (limited spots available)! 🍸🍕

Registration Details

The event will take place in a hybrid format. There are two types of tickets you can choose from based on your preferences (and tickets' availability): "Hybrid Ticket" and "In-person Ticket with Aperitif". In case you cannot make it to the event in person due to an unforeseen reason, please un-RSVP on our website (or reach out to gdsczurich@gmail.com in time so they can free up the space for someone else).

Competition Details

Both in-person and virtual attendees can take part in the competition individually and top participants (from 3 to 10 depending on the number of contestants) will win SWAGS shipped internationally to the address they will communicate. To participate, you will need to create a free Weights & Biases account at http://wandb.me/gdsc-zurich and a free Kaggle account at kaggle.com. You do not need to install anything on your laptop, as you will be provided Google Colab notebooks. Everything else will be explained at the event!
