Details ************************************************ The Presentation ********************************************** About the Speakers Patrice started Android development back in 2010 when he was a Student at Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil . Since then he worked on many different Android / cross platform projects including SBB Mobile, Paymit and NEMO (Post) for different agencies. He started his journey in cross platform development with Mobile GWT and tried other approaches including Ionic or Xamarin. First of all, we are happy to announce that this is our first Meetup together with the App Builders Zürich community :) So join us together with the guys from App Builders on our Meeup to explore Flutter. Flutter is one of the top trending repositories on GitHub nowadays. It is Google’s mobile UI Framework to create native iOS / Android Apps and aims to revolutionise mobile app development.
Patrice Müller (Android) and Renato Stauffer (iOS) will be talking about how Flutter works, their experience using the framework and explain how to get started. After the talk we will enjoy snacks & drinks and socialise / network.
Renato touched iOS the first time in 2012 and never looked back since then. After graduating at Berner Fachhochschule in Business Information Systems he moved to Zürich to develop iOS applications full time. He worked on many banking / P2P payment apps including Paymit (what eventually became Twint) and never got warm with cross platform development until he discovered Flutter at Google IO 2017.
The event will be held at the Swisscom Tower. So thank you Swisscome for hosting the event :) and GDG Zürich for providing the refreshments.
