Our friends from the Google Developer Students Club have an interesting virtual event:
(as this is a shared event - please register at: https://gdsc.community.dev/events/details/developer-student-clubs-eth-zurich-presents-flutter-festival-zurich-intro-to-full-stack-dart-monetizing-your-app/)
We are pleased to announce ETH Zurich's and TUM's GDSC collaboration on this event!
🚩 1. Intro into full-stack Dart - Kilian and Viviana
You might know Dart as the language that powers Flutter, the multi-platform UI framework that lets you build beautiful apps. But did you know you can also write backend apps with Dart?
Using Dart as a full-stack language enables you to have a single development environment and re-use code across the stack, making your project faster to develop and easier to maintain. The plenty advantages (null-safety, elegant syntax, ...) that come with Dart also help you build a beautiful software solution across the entire stack, with the different pieces working together - and you only need to learn one language!
Join us in this beginner-to-advanced-level talk about full-stack Dart and discover new features of Dart that will be useful for your future projects, including the Solution Challenge.
💸 2. Monetizing your app - Alexander
Writing a nice app is only half of the story - you will also need a way to monetize it. In this session, you'll learn how to monetize your app and implement subscriptions and in-app purchases in Flutter for the Google Play and Apple App Store. We will also show you how to check your receipts on your server and make sure the purchase is still active.
🎯 Note: No previous knowledge is required, but familiarity with the basics of Flutter & Dart might be helpful. Feel free to watch the recording of the Intro to Flutter workshop from TUM GDSC!
📢 Swag: thanks to the support of Google Developer Group Europe and the Flutter team, we're able to provide you with awesome Flutter swags! The speakers will give you some small quizzes related to the topics at the end of the event and the top three winners will get Flutter Festival T-shirts! Beside this, we'll also do a random draw of a Tote bag for all the attendees. Stay tuned! 😍
