About this event

🚀 Codaro Coding Challenge II | AI Hackathon | Codaro x GDG Warszawa

We are excited to invite you to the second edition of a unique tech hackathon created in cooperation between Codaro Sp. z o.o. and Google Developers Group (GDG) Warsaw, under the patronage of and hosted by Google for Startups Campus Warsaw!

💡 "Reverse Hackathon" Format with a Pivot

The Codaro Coding Challenge is a one-day hackathon based on a proven and dynamic format:

  • Pre-event work: Teams build the base of their application at home before the hackathon based on previously announced categories. You arrive with a working MVP product, not just an idea!

  • Pivot at 16:00 (Twist): Exactly at 16:00, we announce the target audience/niche. Some of the project's initial assumptions cease to be true, and the teams have exactly 3 hours to rebuild the application to meet the new requirements.

  • Secret Rule: On-site, we will announce an additional, special rule for the event!

  • Discussion Panels: While the teams are working under time pressure, expert panels from the IT and startup industries will take place on the main stage.

  • Demo Day & Voting: The day ends with presentations in front of all participants and democratic voting.

🎯 Two Thematic Tracks

  • Track A – Issue Reporting and Intervention System: Reactive (intake, queuing, assigning contractors, statuses, notifications, field view).

  • Track B – Resource Reservation and Scheduling: Planning (management of resources and slots, confirmations, cancellations, capacity/occupancy view).

⚡ Dedicated EU GPU Infrastructure & Freedom of Tools

  • All teams receive free access to Open Source models running on GPUs located in the European Union (code does not leave the secure EU infrastructure).

  • The use of GPUs is completely optional – you can use any editors and AI assistants (including Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Antigravity, etc.).

👥 Who Are We Looking For?

  • Developers / Participants (80 spots / 16 teams of 5 people): You register individually (if you have a team, provide the same name; if you don't – we will assign you before the event).

  • Observers (20 spots): Seats in front of the stage. Listen to the discussion panels and watch up close as 16 teams build AI-driven products.
