Missed Google I/O 2026? Or watched it and want to dig into what actually matters for builders? GDG Tulsa hosts an in-person watch party at Gradient walking through the highest-signal moments from I/O and GDG Summit — with live commentary from the organizer who attended both events in person.
We screen selected keynote segments and demo reels covering Gemma 4 on a laptop, AI Studio's prompt-to-Android flow, the new Agents tab, the Gemini Live API updates, and the announcements aimed directly at applied AI builders. Between segments, we break for open discussion: what's hype vs. what's shippable, what changed in the developer story this year, and which announcements unlock things you can actually build this quarter.
The session closes with a live demo — Gemini and AI Studio on screen, walking through a working prompt-to-app flow so attendees leave with a tool they can open the same night, not just a recap they watched.
Bring questions. Bring projects you're working on. Network with the local AI builder community — including organizers from GDG Tulsa, AI Tinkerers Tulsa, and the broader Tulsa tech ecosystem.
Attendees leave with: a clear picture of what I/O 2026 unlocked for builders, a working mental model of where Gemini and AI Studio fit in their stack, and direct connections to the people building in this space locally.
