About Event

​Bay Hacks 2026 🚀 Tampa Bay's innovation-led hackathon for students and founders across Florida.

​We're getting Florida's most driven students and founders into one room this September — 24 hours of building, learning, and shipping at the University of South Florida. Whether you're writing your very first line of code or scaling your next startup, this is where ideas become something real, and where you'll meet the people who'll be in your corner long after the weekend ends.

​Here's what's in store:

​💡 Build alongside some of the sharpest student and founder talent in the state

​🛠️ Mentorship and workshops all weekend — including a workshop hosted by the Google Developer Groups national team

​🤝 Built with our campus partners, SHPE USF and GDG USF

​🏆 Prizes worth showing up for (announcing soon, and they're good)

​How the weekend runs:

• ​Friday, Sept 18, 5–6 PM — Check-in, networking, and opening ceremony

• ​Friday, 6 PM — hacking officially begins ⏱️

• ​Friday 6 PM → Saturday 6 PM — hack, eat, hit the workshops, watch the sun rise, repeat

• ​Saturday, 6 PM — hacking wraps and submissions close

• ​Sunday, Sept 20 — demo expo, judging, awards, and closing ceremony 🎉
