Talk 1: Your AI App Is Secure... Are you Sure?

Are you confident enough to say your AI app is secure? Anyone who can type can trick it, and a system prompt won't stop them. In this demo-driven session, we'll hack a live banking chatbot using prompt injection and jailbreaks, leaking secrets it was explicitly told to protect, with nothing but plain English.

Then we'll defend it: Google Cloud Model Armor screens every prompt and response for attacks, while Sensitive Data Protection (SDP) redacts PII instead of blocking users, keeping the user experience intact. You'll leave knowing how AI apps get broken, and how to stop it, all shown live on stage.

Talk 2: "From Vibe to Enterprise"

While vibe coding leverages modern generative AI to maximize developer velocity, enabling rapid iteration and intuitive creation through natural language, it frequently bypasses foundational safeguards. This creates substantial vulnerabilities regarding data privacy, compliance, intellectual property protection, and architectural integrity.

Conversely, traditional enterprise deployment enforces stringent security frameworks, comprehensive access controls, and rigorous auditing, which inherently trade speed for stability and risk mitigation. This talk explores the fundamental tensions and trade-offs inherent in balancing these paradigms. We examine how organisations can bridge this gap by adopting hybrid governance models, policy-as-code guardrails, and automated security pipelines that preserve the creative agility of AI-driven development without compromising enterprise-grade security.
