DevFest is a global community-driven tech conference, hosted by the Google Developer Groups (GDG) community. Each DevFest event is crafted by its GDG organizers to fit the learning needs and interests of their local developer community, with a strong focus on knowledge exchange, networking, and learning about Google developer technologies.
DevFest 2022 marks the 11th year of DevFest and represents the beginning of the second decade of the GDG community. Through DevFest, you can continue to explore how Google's suite of developer tools can expand the impact of local tech professionals and developers like you around the world.

DevFest Singapore 2022
DevFest Singapore 2022 is a non-profit local tech conference hosted by GDG Singapore, in partnering with GDG Cloud Singapore, and Women Techmakers Singapore.
We bring together experts across different technologies for sessions and showcases, allowing you to be empowered with new knowledge and skills.
This event is a culmination of community and passion where developers come to learn, share, enjoy and delve into the spirit of the DevFest season.
This DevFest 2022 season, GDG Singapore is partnering with Google Developers Student Clubs to bring Career Fair to DevFest Singapore 2022. More information will be shared soon.

Developer Relations Engineer
Erwin is a Staff Developer Relations Engineer on the Developer Advocacy team at Google. In this role, he focuses on Machine Learning Operations and large scale Machine Learning. Previously, Erwin was responsible for leading Google's ML practices in EMEA and APAC. In this role he has worked with customers like Spotify, HSBC, Gojek, Sharechat, LG and Woolworths. Erwin has 10+ years of experience in the field of Machine Learning, Data Science and Cloud computing. Before joining Google he has worked in Lead Machine Learning roles at leading global technology companies.
Esther Irawati is Associate Professor and Google Developer Group Surabaya Founder with more than ten years of experience in Social Network Media Analysis and professional work experience in the IT industry.
Her background includes the full-stack development of web applications, management of Cloud systems, creating Machine Learning models with Tensorflow, developing native mobile applications for Android and Flutter.
She has participated and hosted several tech talks, both national and international. She is also affiliated with other several professional groups, such as IEEE, IAENG, IAIS (Indonesia Artificial Intelligence Society) and several other groups.

Zhi Yi is a Women Techmakers Ambassador working with GDG George Town, striving to empower women in tech. Majoring in Artificial Intelligence in her studies, Zhi Yi has practical experience in computer vision tasks, data engineering, and data analytics projects. Besides, she delivers STEM modules at secondary schools and was a teaching assistant for data structure at the University of Malaya.
He lives in Bangkok, Thailand where he is actively involved in the local Firebase community such as speaking at conferences, writing blog posts and creating code samples all over Thailand. He also founded the largest Thailand Firebase developer group with over 10,000 members.
His passion is to help developers learn and adopt new mobile development methodologies and frameworks like Firebase. While he is not developing, he likes to spend time with his wife and children.
Joshua is currently a software engineer at dub, a FinTech startup that enables anyone to invest in ideas and people. Previously building a digital bank in the US, connecting people on jobs and services marketplace platform with 50M+ users, building a platform to move freights globally, serving 900K+ Filipinos to travel across borders in response to COVID-19, and connecting 10K+ Filipinos to their favorite celebrities through live-streaming.
Mariko is a Developer Relations Engineer at Chrome.
Ngoc is a software engineer at VNG Corporation. She's been working with mobile development for more than three years using Android programming and Flutter. As she loves to be a problem solver, she spends most of her time developing mobile applications that help her company's product team optimize their working process. People love the way Ngoc brings them surprises. She loves doing magic and even puts it into her projects. Besides, Ngoc is also a Women Techmakers Ambassador. She enjoys inspiring people to build a world where everybody can join the technology industry!
Rendy is Head of Data at Ruangguru, managing data scientists and data engineers to deliver business values using data, machine learning, insights.
Previously he spent 6 years at Traveloka, one of startup unicorns in Indonesia. Built Traveloka data engineering infrastructure from scratch including streaming data pipeline, batch pipeline, framework, data warehouse, and data services.
He is also a Google Developer Expert on Cloud, Data Specialization (BigQuery, DataFlow, etc.). Grooming data engineering talents through contents at Insinyur Data youtube channel. Passionate in analytics, machine learning, big data, and how they can deliver value to user and business.
Sagar is an Android Developer Relations Engineer at Google,
He bridges the communication gap between 3rd party developers, and the engineering & product teams which build the Android platform.
His role includes aspects of coding, writing blogs, open source contribution, and external & internal advocacy.
Saurabh is a Google Developer Expert and a Senior Engineer on the Android Team at Twitter, Singapore where he works on their Android Mobile app. Previously, he was the Android Engineering Lead at Rakuten Viki.
Outside of work and meetups, he is a big tennis and cricket fan. He also regularly plays tennis and keeps himself fit through Calisthenics.
Thu Ya Kyaw is a Developer Advocate for Google Cloud. He helps to make learning, developing, deploying, and scaling applications on Google Cloud
a delightful experience for everyone.
Before joining Google, Thu Ya worked as a Machine Learning Engineer in various industries. Thu Ya is passionate about AI technologies: mainly reinforcement learning, computer vision, and generative adversarial networks.
Apart from being one of the 13 pioneer graduates of the AI apprentice programme from AI Singapore, he is also a recent graduate of the Master of Computing - AI specialization programme from NUS.
Vin is the founder and project director of Astralab, a digital lab that solves complex problems with modern technology. He is also a Google Developer Expert focusing on Web Technologies, as well as Developer Advocate for Polygon.
He is Google Developer Expert for web technologies from Thailand also run the Web Developers Community in Thailand, he is also doing public speaking about web technologies for Developer and Startup. His specialist is Progressive Web App and Web performance
Weiyuan is currently an Engineering Manager at Grab. As an engineer, he has worked on the full-stack development of scalable and distributed web applications. He doubles up as a Software Engineer for archipelago.rocks, a classroom tool for teachers to better facilitate teaching for teachers and learning for students, which is supported by NUS and free to use.
Outside of work, Weiyuan serves as a community lead for Big O(n) Development and GDG Cloud Singapore, and hosts events monthly to bi-weekly on cloud technologies and current-day topics. He is also a Google Developer Expert for Google, in cloud technologies, and often blogs and talks about these areas as well.
An experienced Program Manager currently managing programs for 5 million developers across the globe.
He is passionate about building and scaling tech-communities and promoting technical education.
