About this event

Learn how to create useful navigation in an Android app.

Complete the AndroidTrivia app, which is a game in which users answer trivia questions about Android development and can share their results if they win.

First, create a fragment and add it to an app, then add navigation to the app using the Android Studio navigation graph. Add a navigation drawer and an options menu to your app, and work with the app's back stack, changing the destination of the system Back button. Finally, invoke an external activity from within the app.

Prerequisites: Knowledge of an object-oriented and functional language such as Kotlin or Java. Knowledge of an IDE such as Android Studio. Knowledge of a source control system such as Github. A basic knowledge of Android is helpful, but not strictly required.
