In collaboration with the Software Craft and Testing Community Salzburg and the FH Salzburg we are hosting Global Day of Coderetreat @ FH-Salzburg!

A full-day practice event for software developers. With real project pressure off the table, you get space to work on your technique and habits.

• Purpose: Sharpen core practices—TDD, clean design, refactoring, pairing.

• Exercise: You tackle a simple problem (deliberately small in scope) that’s complex enough to teach, not distract with business rules.

• Format: Short iterations, rotating partners, and new constraints each round to expose trade-offs and deepen learning.

• The result: a structured, collaborative environment where you can deliberately improve how you code—not just what you ship. Suitable for students through seasoned professionals. Please bring a laptop with your preferred language, test framework, and a “green” dummy test ready. Lunch provided.

Community members call:

We’re inviting community members to join on site as mentors to support student pairs throughout the day (code reviews, guidance on TDD and design, gentle nudges). If you’re willing to mentor, please sign up.
