Laurence Moroney (Twitter: lmoroney (https://twitter.com/lmoroney), linkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/laurence-moroney/ ) from the Google Brain / TensorFlow team will be in Reading to chat with us about some of the things he is working on there, particularly TFLite.

You may know Laurence from the many Youtube channels he runs, from the popular Coffee with a Googler to all the various TF channels (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0rqucBdTuFTjJiefW5t-IQ/videos) which you should definitely take a look at.
He is also the author of "The Definitive Guide to Firebase"

TFLite is geared towards on-device ML, not only restricted to phones but also other smaller devices. Why on-device? Take a look at Pete Warden's recent blog post "Why the future of Machine Learning is Tiny (https://petewarden.com/2018/06/11/why-the-future-of-machine-learning-is-tiny/)". If you haven't been thinking about ML on device this makes for compelling reading.
