We'll see the answers of these questions in this presentation; Is mobile software so different from traditional ones, so to require different and specialised new testing techniques, what are the new challenges on testing mobile applications and what are the current solutions for them? We'll walk through some essays and real world examples to understand the challenge of mobile testing. Bio : Buşra Deniz started her mobile development career by developing Android application in university. After getting taste of mobile development, she added iOS to her toolbox. And now, she is a Mobile Software Consultant who has a keen interest in developing high-quality mobile applications by applying agile principles and methodologies for five years and studying on mobile testing for master thesis at Bogazici University. Speaker Jon Black Jon Black is a Principal Engineer with ARM, leading a team responsible for developing software models of ARM’s reference platform designs for Mobile, Infrastructure and IoT. He joined ARM in 2004 and was previously Technical Lead for ARM’s RealView Debugger. Before moving into the microprocessor industry, Jon spent the first years of his career in the data and telecommunications sectors, working for Digital Equipment, Nortel Networks and Ridgeway, a VoIP startup. At Digital he developed OSI and routing protocols, worked on GSM provisioning systems at Nortel and “anything that needed to be done” at Ridgeway.
