Following the recent Google IO announcements Mark Oppenheim (https://www.linkedin.com/in/markoppenheim) will be running a Firebase Codelab from the IO event. 

Firebase is a mobile platform that helps you quickly develop high-quality apps, grow your user base, and earn more money. Firebase is made up of complementary features that you can mix-and-match to fit your needs.

What you'll learn:

 - Sync data using the Firebase Realtime Database and Firebase Storage.

 - Authenticate your users using Firebase Auth.

 - Deploy your web app on Firebase static hosting.

What you'll need:

 - The IDE/text editor of your choice such as WebStormAtom or Sublime

 - The sample code.

 - A browser such as Chrome
