What is DevFest?

DevFest is GDG's annual globally distributed conference. It's a community-led tech conference that brings together developers, tech enthusiasts, and industry experts to learn, share, and collaborate on various topics such as software development, recent technology trends, and more. Be it through hands-on learning experiences, technical talks delivered in local languages by experts, or by simply meeting fellow local developers, DevFest attendees explore networking opportunities, foster knowledge exchange and skill development within the tech community, which comes along with exciting ice-breakers, cool giveaways, and fun Challenges!

Important Registration Guidelines & Terms

1. Shortlist-Based Allocation (RSVP):
   
   To deliver a high-quality learning experience, prevent overcrowding, and maintain interactive hall capacities, DevFest Ranchi 2026 operates on an application and shortlist model.

   • RSVP is an Application, Not a Confirmed Pass: Submitting your RSVP registers your profile for review, it does not guarantee entry or reserve a seat.

   • Review & Shortlisting: Our team evaluates applications across each track to ensure a balanced mix of students, builders, and working professionals.

   • Private Invitation Link: Only shortlisted applicants will receive an official confirmation email containing the ticket payment link.

2. First-Come, First-Served Confirmation (Limited Seats)

   Seats across individual tracks are strictly capped. Receiving a shortlist invitation does not guarantee your seat, your admission is locked in only after successful payment on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Strict Non-Refundable Policy:

   All ticket sales and registrations are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Once booked, a seat cannot be cancelled or swapped.

4. Additional Goodies (For Hands-on specific tracks) :

   Track-specific perks, including bonus developer swag kits and complimentary GCP credits, are earned and distributed exclusively to attendees who physically participate in and complete the respective hands-on milestones on event day.
