About this event

Please join John Hanley, Google Cloud Platform GDE, who has come down from Seattle to run a hands-on talk on Google Cloud Run. This will be a combination of presentation and hands-on lab. At the completion of this meetup, everyone will walk away having created their first Cloud Run service!

Cloud Run is a managed compute platform that enables you to run stateless containers that are invocable via HTTP requests. Cloud Run is serverless: it abstracts away all infrastructure management, so you can focus on what matters most — building great applications. For more information, see https://cloud.google.com/run/

This is a hands on event, please be sure to bring your laptop and create your GCP account in advance! Please also have git and Python 3.x installed on your laptop.

Light food and drink will be provided by our generous sponsor, eBay.
