Come one, come all to the fabulous Bakken & Bæck Android Open House in collaboration with GDG Oslo.

We have a great line-up of two seasoned speakers both currently residing in the Netherlands..

Annyce Davis (@brwngrldev) is a Google Developer Expert, conference speaker, instructor, and Android developer. She currently works at Off Grid Electric, a social impact startup that provides clean, transformative energy to households that suffer from expensive, unreliable grids or have no grid access at all.

Annyce will be talking about getting to grips with GraphQL; a query language for your API. We'll learn about what GraphQL is all about and how we can take advantage of it in our applications.

Ellen Shapiro (@designatednerd) is an iOS and Android developer at Bakken & Bæck's Amsterdam office. She is currently working on the Ethereum wallet and Dapp browser Toshi. Having experience from both mobile worlds gives Ellen a unique perspective which she is putting to good use as a collaborator on the Ray Wenderlich book "Kotlin Apprentice"

Ellen will be talking about Enum and Sealed classes in Kotlin - extremely powerful ways to deal with a known set of possible values. Learn how to use these tools to help you cleaner, safer code, and how to push the boundaries of what's possible with enums.

Food and drink will be served.
