Every product you use is adding AI agents assistants that don't just answer questions, but actually do things: search, decide, and act. In this hands-on session, we'll take an ordinary e-commerce store and give it a brain, live on screen.
We'll build with Google Antigravity, the agent-first development platform where AI agents help plan, write, and verify code so you'll see agents at two levels: the ones helping us build the app, and the one we ship inside it.
What you'll see live:
- A plain chatbot confidently making things up and why that happens
- Fixing it with RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) over real store data
- Giving the agent hands with tool calling: searching products, checking orders, adding to cart
- How agentic workflows tie it together, and where frameworks like LangGraph fit
- Honest failure modes what breaks in real agent systems and how to think about it
Who is this for?
Students and early developers curious about AI engineering. If you can read basic code, you're ready; no AI or machine learning background required.
