The objective of this workshop is to introduce Year 1 students to Git and GitHub. Students will learn repository creation, commits, pushing, pulling, branching, and basic collaboration workflows.

What You Will Learn:

  • The Basics: Understanding the difference between Git (The Engine) and GitHub (The Garage).

  • The Workflow: How to git add, git commit, and git push like a pro.

  • Collaboration: How to work on the same code without killing each other (Resolving Merge Conflicts).
