GDGoC UM’s AI/ML Core Team, as part the GDGoC UM Week series of informative hands-on workshops and competitions, has recognized the need for an informational workshop which shines light on the incredible capabilities of Google AI in enhancing Medical Imaging applications with advanced AI-augmented inferences.

By organizing this workshop, participants will gain the following:

• Knowledge with regards to Interdisciplinary use cases of Google AI.

• AI-specific technical knowledge for the students from non-technical backgrounds.

• Medicine-specific knowledge regarding implications of such technology in the field of students, giving insights to the students from technical backgrounds.

• Knowledge regarding the benefits and consequences of AI usage in the medicine industry.

• Networking opportunities with speakers who possess industry experience.

This workshop will feature:

• A showcase of Google AI being used to generate inferences in Medical Imaging applications.

• Sample hands-on demonstrations of such inference generation platforms powered by Google Machine Learning platforms.

• Insights from experienced speakers from the Faculty of Computer Science and Faculty of Medicine.
