Demo Day & Awards Event Ed. 2026 is the second edition of the annual showcase and recognition event organized by GDG on Campus Université Catholique de Bukavu.

The event will mark the conclusion of our student technology incubation program, bringing together student developers, project teams, mentors, educators, technology professionals, startups, companies and community members.

During the event, selected teams will present and demonstrate their projects, participate in pitching sessions, receive feedback from experienced professionals and connect with potential mentors, partners and opportunities.

The program will culminate in an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding projects and teams based on criteria such as innovation, technical quality, relevance, impact and presentation.

Beyond the demonstrations and awards, the event is designed to strengthen connections between emerging technology talent and the local professional ecosystem, while creating opportunities for students to showcase their skills as they prepare for the next stage of their academic or professional journey.

The event is expected to bring together approximately 100 participants and showcase selected student and community projects.
