About this event

The Open Recruitment Info Session of GDGoC serves as the gateway for students to join the Google Developer Groups on Campus community. This program aims to provide a comprehensive overview of GDGoC’s vision, mission, and organizational structure, while also equipping prospective members with fundamental skills. Its main focus is to ensure an effective recruitment process by introducing our collaborative team model, which consists of three core roles: Hacker (technical developer), Hipster (creative designer), and Hustler (strategic planner).
The event will feature presentations from the GDGoC core team about the synergy between these roles, followed by a mini hands-on session on Git & GitHub as the primary collaboration tools. Through a combination of interactive discussions and practical sessions, participants will not only be able to explore the role that best matches their interests but also gain essential technical skills that will be highly valuable during the selection process and when contributing to community projects.
