As part of our community engagement and external collaboration initiatives, we participated in the JCI GLZ’25 Summit as a field stakeholder and represented GDG on Campus TEDU at the event. Rather than attending solely as guests, we actively contributed by hosting a booth, connecting with attendees, and introducing the mission, values, and learning culture of our community. Throughout the summit, we listened to inspiring panels and keynote discussions from leaders across technology, business, and social impact, gaining new perspectives on youth leadership, innovation, and the future of digital transformation. We also had the opportunity to expand our network and engage with professionals, entrepreneurs, and university communities, which opened doors to exciting collaboration prospects. Several organizations and partners expressed sponsorship and partnership interest in our programs, highlighting the growing visibility and credibility of our student-led initiatives. By sharing our work in AI/ML, cloud, product and career development, and showcasing TEDSphere as our new structured learning ecosystem, we strengthened GDG on Campus TEDU’s presence beyond our university and demonstrated how young communities can contribute meaningfully to the tech and innovation ecosystem. Participating in this summit not only broadened our network but also reaffirmed our vision to empower students, cultivate leaders, and bridge academia with real-world opportunity.
