Kicking off the academic year, GDG on Campus TKIET, Warananagar hosts a session on getting started with open source contribution. Many students want to contribute but don't know where to begin — this session breaks that barrier down. We'll cover how to find beginner-friendly issues (good-first-issue, hacktoberfest-friendly repos), the actual workflow of forking, branching, and raising a PR, how to write a contribution that maintainers actually merge, and why open source matters for your resume and career. We'll also open the floor to plan ongoing community contribution goals for our chapter this year.
