In this hands-on workshop, we'll start with a short presentation on the markers of a successful open source project — clear documentation, reliable CI, quality code reviews — and which Google tools can take your project from scrappy prototype to something contributors actually want to work on.

Then we'll build something useful: a production-grade AI Code Review Assistant using Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK) and Gemini. This is the kind of tool that makes open source maintainership sustainable — automated, consistent, and thorough code review on every PR, without burning out your contributors.

Google Cloud credits will be provided so you can follow along at no cost.
