This session is designed to jumpstart your journey in the Google Solution Challenge 2026. We are here to facilitate the registration process and provide you with a strategic roadmap to transform your ideas into high-impact solutions. Our goal is to ensure every team from our campus is well-equipped with the right tools, knowledge, and official credentials to compete effectively on this global stage.
Building an Impactful Solution: Learn the "Design, Discover, Develop" framework to create projects that aren't just technically sound but also solve genuine community problems.
Leveraging Google Technologies: We will dive into the 2026 tech focus, including Gemini, Vertex AI, Flutter, and Google Cloud, showing you how to integrate at least one Google product to meet the submission criteria.
Referral Code Sharing: During the session, we will distribute the official referral code required for individual registration. Using the code ensures your team is correctly mapped to our GDG chapter for tracking and support.
To streamline our coordination and ensure we have adequate resources for the technical session, we require a formal RSVP. Please note that to avoid duplicate entries and ensure clear communication, only Team Leaders should RSVP on behalf of their entire group. If you are unable to form a team before the technical session on 17 March 2026 also, you can still take your time and come up with your own team.
Leader-Only RSVP: Only the designated Team Leader should fill out the RSVP form to represent the group (1–4 members).
Developer Profile Readiness: Before the session, ensure everyone in you team has a public Google Developer Profile ready, as the link will be required for the official registration.
Session Exclusive: The referral codes and specific implementation guides will only be shared with those who attend and RSVP, as these are tied to our local facilitation efforts.
The Google Solution Challenge is a premier global stage for student developers to tackle the world's most pressing issues using the power of Google technology. This year, the focus is heavily on AI-driven innovation to address the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By participating, you aren't just building an app; you are building a future where technology bridges the gap in quality education, health, and environmental sustainability.
Mission-Driven Development: Your project must align with one or more of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals to be eligible for judging.
Build with AI: The 2026 edition emphasizes the use of Generative AI and Machine Learning to create smarter, more scalable solutions.
National & Global Recognition: Compete for significant cash prizes (up to ₹4,00,000 for the top India winners), global mentorship from Google experts, and features on Google’s developer platforms.
Timeline Awareness: The challenge runs from March 2026 through June 2026, with project submissions typically requiring a working demo video and a GitHub repository.
