About this event

Have you ever had an idea for an app but didn’t know where to start, or felt that building a prototype would take too much time? In this workshop, we will explore how vibecoding can help turn ideas into working proof-of-concepts within minutes.

In collaboration with GovTech Singapore, the SIT Developers Club will be running a hands-on workshop demonstrating how real-world problems can be rapidly translated into simple, usable applications using vibecoding. The session will begin with a live demo, where we build a working prototype from scratch by prompting and iterating in real time.

After the demo, participants will move into a hands-on breakout session, where you will have the opportunity to try vibecoding for yourself. Our team will be walking around to support participants as they experiment with their own ideas, build small prototypes, and explore how quickly concepts can be turned into functional apps.

This workshop is designed to show how rapid prototyping can lower the barrier to building, enabling developers and innovators to experiment, validate ideas early, and iterate faster.

What You’ll Experience

  • A live demo showing how an idea can become a working app in minutes

  • A practical introduction to vibecoding and rapid prototyping

  • A hands-on breakout session to build your own proof-of-concept

  • Guidance and support from the SIT Developers Club team

Whether you are a student, developer, or someone curious about building applications faster, this session will give you a practical glimpse into how vibecoding can accelerate the way we create and experiment with ideas.
