GDGC NIT Surat is proud to present Google Winter of Code (GWOC), a 10-day hands-on coding event where participants get the opportunity to work on real-world projects by developing websites tailored to the needs of small businesses. This initiative bridges the gap between learning and application, allowing students to collaborate, innovate, and create impactful solutions while refining their technical expertise.
Unlike traditional hackathons or coding competitions, GWOC is focused on applied learning and real-world impact. Instead of solving hypothetical problems, participants develop fully functional solutions that will be used by real businesses, making their work more meaningful.
Moreover, with mentorship, peer collaboration, and project-based learning, this initiative fosters both technical and professional growth for all participants.
