About this event

🧠 WELCOME TO STATION 3: CURING THE "GOLDFISH MEMORY"

Did you know that by default, AI models have no memory? Every time you send a new message, they forget who you are. To build a true companion, not just a tool, your AI needs to remember the conversation context.

Track 3 focuses on the "Memory" component of the stack. We will learn how to persist chat history so your bot can say: "As I mentioned earlier..."

🎯 WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Context Window vs. Memory: Understand the difference between the immediate processing limit (Context Window) and long-term storage (Database Memory).

  • Introduction to Firebase: Learn why Google's Firebase is the go-to backend for mobile and web apps to store real-time data.

  • Building the Infrastructure: Set up your first Firebase project to act as the "Brain Storage" for your chatbot application.

💻 FEATURED CODELAB (HANDS-ON) Before connecting the wires, we need to build the foundation. This session features a foundational lab:

  • Lab: A Tour of Firebase (GSP1132)

  • Level: Introductory

  • Activity: You will get hands-on experience with the Firebase Console, learn how to navigate the platform, manage credentials, and identify the key services (like Firestore) that we will use to store chat logs.

🎙️ SPEAKER

  • To be announced soon on our Fanpage.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: HOW TO GET FREE CREDITS To access the Codelab platform and receive your Google Cloud Credits for free, you must:
