Tech Token Heist

Tech Token Heist is a high-stakes, fast-paced competitive tech event where teams go head-to-head across five technical domains to accumulate tokens, climb the leaderboard, and fight their way to the Grand Finale.

Every team starts with just 1 token and from there, it's a battle of skill, strategy, and speed. Win matches to grow your stack, lose them and watch your lead shrink. Matchmaking is fully automatic; you don't pick your opponents or your challenges the system does. When a match begins, a spin wheel reveals your domain and the clock starts ticking.

Compete across 5 domains, each testing a different dimension of your technical ability:

1. ⚡ Tech Pitch — Got an idea? Sell it. Teams pitch a tech concept to the judges and must be convincing, clear, and compelling all under pressure.

2. 🧠 Tech Quiz — Think fast. Answer rapid-fire technical questions before time runs out. Breadth of knowledge is your greatest weapon here.

3. 💻 Guess Output — Read the code, predict the result. Given a code snippet, teams must correctly identify what it outputs no running it, just your brain.

4. 🎨 Web Development — Build under the clock. Teams construct a small UI component in limited time, proving that clean, functional frontend work can happen fast.

5. 🔧 Feature Addition — No coding required. Given an existing product or system, teams pitch a compelling feature idea articulating what it does, why it matters, and how it fits. Creativity and clarity win the day.

Team Registration & Check-In

Participants arrive, verify registrations, receive team IDs, and complete setup.

10:50 AM – 11:00 AM

Opening Setup

Teams move to designated zones and prepare systems/devices.

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Introduction & Rule Briefing

Introduction to Tech Token Heist, explanation of gameplay, matchmaking system, token mechanics, domains, leaderboard, and event rules.

12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Round 1 – Main Phase

Teams enter automatic matchmaking queues and compete in multiple domains to collect tokens and rise on the leaderboard.

1:30 PM – 1:45 PM

Quick Refreshment Break

Short hydration and refreshment break while maintaining leaderboard tracking.

3:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Wager Round

High-risk token wagering phase begins. Teams can challenge stronger opponents through automatic matchmaking with elimination mechanics active.

4:30 PM – 5:15 PM

Grand Finale Showdown

Top 2 teams compete across all five domains in the ultimate final battle to determine the champion.

5:15 PM – 5:30 PM

Prize Distribution & Closing Ceremony

Announcement of winners, prize distribution, appreciation for participants, volunteers, judges, and official event closing.
