As part of its continuous technical empowerment initiatives, GDG OnCampus REC successfully hosted an interactive guidance session titled "Road to SIH," designed to mentor and inspire students as they prepare for the Smart India Hackathon (SIH). Organized to help students navigate India’s premier product development competition, this event brought together past hackathon winners, mentors, and aspiring innovators for a comprehensive breakdown of the SIH journey.

The primary goal of this session was to equip students with actionable strategies, technical clarity, and insider perspectives to excel in the Smart India Hackathon. Participants gained direct guidance on selecting official problem statements, building solid prototypes, creating compelling slide decks, and delivering winning pitches to clear internal college rounds and qualify for national stages.
