Data Science Launchpad: From Zero to GitHub Portfolio is a hands‑on learning experience by GDG On Campus, PRMIT&R, designed for students who want to enter the world of data science by building real projects instead of only watching tutorials. In this workshop, participants will learn Python for data analysis, data visualization, and machine learning while working on three practical mini‑projects. The sessions will also introduce AI‑assisted development and vibe coding techniques, allowing students to accelerate their workflow and experiment with modern AI-powered tools while solving real data problems.

As part of the #BuildWithAI initiative, participants will create data science projects using AI‑assisted approaches, helping them understand how modern developers combine data science with AI tools to build faster and smarter solutions. Students will learn how to analyze datasets, create meaningful visualizations, build simple machine learning models, and publish their work on GitHub to develop a professional portfolio.
