The GDG Showcase is an all-day, in-person event that gives Ontario Tech University students the opportunity to present and celebrate projects they have recently built, either independently or through GDG-hosted events. Participants will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges in a Shark Tank–style format, receiving constructive feedback while competing for prizes and awards based on creativity, impact, and execution. The event also provides opportunities for networking, collaboration, and skill-building in project development and pitching.

Main Theme: Create an application that is niche and solves a unique problem people face today.

Build with AI Track: Create an application that solves a problem using Gemini, Gemma, and Vertex or any AI of choice. This track focuses on the use of AI compared to other applications. Use learnings from workshops to help support this project.
