The Build with AI: Innovation Challenge 2026 is a fully online and asynchronous competition organized by GDG on Campus – University of Niagara Falls Canada as part of Google’s Build with AI campaign.
Participants may compete individually or in teams of up to four members and will have exactly 72 hours to create an AI-powered solution that addresses a real-world problem. Projects may include web or mobile applications, AI agents, chatbots, automations, dashboards, prototypes, or other creative solutions.
Education, healthcare, sustainability, accessibility, productivity, finance, agriculture, smart cities, mental health, social innovation, or any other meaningful area — the sky is the limit!
Gemini, Google AI Studio, Firebase, Google Cloud, and Google Maps Platform. Additional technologies may be used alongside Google AI tools.

This is a fully asynchronous event. There are no meetings, workshops, or live sessions. Registered participants will receive the challenge instructions, rules, and submission form by email before the challenge begins.
Outstanding submissions may receive special recognition following the challenge.
