Mentor Me Collective, in partnership with CUNY City Tech, invites you to Sustainable Synapse: Hack for Social Impact — a one-day hackathon that empowers students to tackle real-world global challenges through creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

🧠 About the Hackathon

📅 Date: Saturday, November 15, 2025
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST
📍 Location: CUNY City Tech
👥 Who Can Join: All City Tech students — from Freshman to Senior!

Form a team of five or join one during the event to design innovative solutions addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals:

• 🌾 Goal 2: Zero Hunger

• 💧 Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation

• ⚡ Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy

• 🏙️ Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

No prior hackathon experience is required — just bring your creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving mindset!

🏆 What to Expect

• Collaborate with peers from different majors

• Network with industry mentors and guest speakers

• Learn new skills in design thinking, sustainability, and tech innovation

• Compete for exciting prizes and certificates

• Showcase your project using Google Vids during final presentations

10:00 AM: Opening remarks & event overview
10:30 AM: Career Panel — “Journey into Tech & How Your Role Exists in Tech”
11:30 AM – 5:00 PM: Hackathon time! Work with your team and mentors
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Project presentations via Google Vids
6:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Awards, certificates, and closing remarks
