Agent Forge — Build with Google ADK

Agent Forge is a hands-on AI Agent building competition organized by GDG on Campus, NIST University, Berhampur — designed for developers who are ready to move beyond traditional coding and enter the era of Agentic AI.

Powered by Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK) and Gemini, participants will have exactly 3 hours to conceptualize, build, and demo a working AI Agent — solo or as a team.

This isn't just a competition. It's your first step into building AI that thinks, acts, and decides.

🧠 What is Google ADK?

Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) is Google's open-source Python framework for building sophisticated AI Agents powered by Gemini models. With ADK, developers can create agents that:

• 🔍 Search, retrieve and summarize real-world information

• 📋 Automate complex multi-step tasks

• 🔄 Collaborate with other agents in pipelines

• 🎯 Make intelligent decisions based on context

👥 Participation Guidelines

• Open to individual participants only.

• Open to all branches and all years — domain doesn't matter, curiosity does

• Every registered participant who attends will walk away with exclusive Google swags 🎁

• The Top 3 winners will receive special prizes and additional exclusive swags on top 🏆

• Only pre-registered participants are eligible for evaluation, swags and prizes

💻 Pre-Requisites

Please come fully prepared with the following set up on your laptop:

• ✅ Python 3.9+ installed

• ✅ Google ADK installed → pip install google-adk

• ✅ Gemini API Key → Get it free at aistudio.google.com

• ✅ Code editor of your choice (VS Code recommended)
