As part of the TechSprint Campaign, Event 2: Git & GitHub Workshop was conducted on 28 December 2025 as a hands-on technical session aimed at building a strong foundation in version control and collaborative software development. The session focused on practical learning and real-time implementation to ensure participants could effectively apply the concepts in their projects.
Objectives of the Session:
To introduce Git and GitHub fundamentals
To provide hands-on experience with version control workflows
To enable participants to collaborate efficiently on code
Key Activities Covered:
Setting up Git and GitHub accounts
Creating and managing repositories
Practicing commits, branching, and merging
Working with pull requests and issues
Understanding best practices for clean commits and project management
Participation & Engagement:
Active involvement from participants throughout the session
Real-time execution of tasks along with the instructor
Interactive discussions and doubt-clearing
Outcomes of the Event:
