Ever wondered what makes a resume stand out to recruiters at top companies? 👀

Join us for GDG’s Resume Roast, a fun and interactive session where McMaster alumni and students who have landed amazing co-ops, full-time roles, and offers from big tech companies will share their insights while reviewing resumes live.

💡 What to Expect:

• Honest (but friendly!) feedback on real resumes

• Insider tips from peers and alumni who’ve been through the process

• Strategies to make your resume ATS-friendly and recruiter-ready

• Practical advice on formatting, tailoring experiences, and storytelling

• A chance to learn from both common mistakes and outstanding examples

📌 Who should attend:
Students at any stage of their journey — whether you’re drafting your first resume or refining it for big tech applications.

✨ Bring your resume, your curiosity, and your sense of humor — because while the roast is real, it’s all in good fun and aimed at helping you grow. And the good part, there is food for you as well!!
