The AI x Law Hackathon, following seven highly successful editions held at Stanford, Cambridge, Paris, and Toronto, is making its Montreal debut. These events have collectively attracted over 1,000 participants from around the globe.
Whether you're a law student, a developer, an engineer, or a business mind, this hackathon is built for interdisciplinary teams. No prior hackathon experience needed. Join us for the inaugural Montreal edition to leverage LLMs and AI to develop innovative solutions aimed at streamlining legal work and enhancing research efficiency.
Join us for a one-day sprint where legal minds, builders, and curious tinkerers get to play with the possibilities of large language models in the world of law. Bring your ideas, your code, your questions, or just your appetite for figuring things out fast. Over the course of the day, teams will explore practical and playful ways to use AI for legal workflows, from drafting and research to smarter tools for lawyers, clients, and anyone who has ever stared at a contract and wondered if the document was secretly fighting back.
Co-hosted by Stanford LiftLab, McGill University's Faculty of Law, McGill Ventures, and The Conflict Analytics Lab at Queen's University.
