Overview

Build with AI: Global Hackathon is an international online hackathon organized collaboratively by multiple Google Developer Groups from different countries. The event will run for approximately one month and focuses on building real-world solutions using Google technologies.

Participating communities include:

• Turkey (Maltepe University)

• USA (Texas State University, California)

• Spain (Madrid)

• Malta (University of Malta)

• Azerbaijan (Baku)

What You Will Do

Participants will:

• Select a problem aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

• Build AI-powered solutions using Google technologies

• Collaborate in international teams

• Present their projects to a jury panel

Hackathon Structure (3 Phases)

Phase 1 – Workshop & Kickoff (1-2 Days)

• Introduction to Google technologies and AI tools

• Technical sessions and onboarding

• Project ideation

Phase 2 – Development (2–3 Weeks)

• Team formation (global teams)

• Project development

• Mentorship support

Phase 3 – Demo Day & Evaluation

• Final presentations

• Jury evaluation

• Announcement of winners

Who Can Join

• Open to all participants, including beginners

• No prior coding experience is strictly required

• The goal is to learn, collaborate, and build

• Google AI Tools

• Google Cloud Platform

• Firebase

• Generative AI (e.g., Gemini)

Speaker

The workshop will feature a speaker who:

• Has 12+ years of experience at Google

• Has previously spoken at DevFest
