Ready to build with one of Google's most powerful open AI models?

Join GDG on Campus Makerere for an interactive, hands-on workshop where you'll learn how to build AI applications using Gemma before officially kicking off our Build with Gemma Hackathon.

Whether you're new to AI development or already building with large language models, this workshop will help you understand the Gemma ecosystem, explore practical development workflows, and build your first Gemma-powered application.

At the end of the session, we'll officially introduce the Build with Gemma Hackathon, walk through the competition tracks, judging criteria, prizes, and submission process, and open registrations for all participants.
